Ingredients for making Tekeli Pitha
- 1 egg
- 1 cup rice flour
- ¾ cup warm water
- 1 small onion
- 1 green chili
- ½ tsp salt
- Add salt to rice flour and sprinkle some water over the flour, mix well till fine crumbs are formed.
- Strain the mixture and cover it, keep aside for 10 mins.
- After 10 mins add chopped chilies and onions to the flour.
- Boil water in any small mouth container and spread muslin cloth over the mouth.
- Now make dip in the middle of the cloth and fill the dip with the prepared rice powder.
- Cover the powder with the cloth and place a lid over the cloth. And keep steaming for about 7-8 mins.
- Open the lid and cloth and break an egg in the powder cake. Cover it again and continue steaming till done.
- Carefully take off from heat and uncover the cake on the plate.
- Turn it upside down. Serve hot.
